Job Description

• Electrical Design and Engineering:
  • Able to understand the concept prepared by consultants in electrical designs for industrial projects, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems and advising them on the same.
  • Help preparing technical specifications and procurement documents.
  • Coordination with other disciplines (mechanical, civil, etc.).
• Project Management:
  • Managing electrical subcontracts and ensuring timely completion of work.
  • Monitoring project schedules.
  • Conducting site meetings and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
  • Material Management.
• Quality Control and Testing:
  • Developing and implementing quality control procedures for electrical installations.
  • Overseeing the testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical problems.

• Client Liaison:
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for consultant/officials on electrical matters.
  • Providing technical expertise and support to clients.
  • Managing client expectations and ensuring project satisfaction.
• Estimating and Proposals:
  • Creating electrical cost estimates for proposals and checking bill of contractor.
• Safety compliance:
  • Ensuring all electrical work is performed according to regulations of Indian / UAE.
• Commissioning and Startup:
  • Leading the commissioning and startup of complex electrical systems.
  • Developing and implementing commissioning plans and procedures.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 15 yrs exp.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, etc.).
• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, etc.).
• Strong understanding of power distribution, control systems, and electrical safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Project management skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems preferred.
